How does your process of placement work?

To initiate your search, we strongly suggest  you contact our office and speak with a member of our placement staff. We prefer to speak with each client prior to sending an application in order to assess whether we are able to assist you in filling your position. The Katie Facey Agency is well-known for our attention to detail! Based on your initial conversation with our placement staff, should we feel your position would be difficult to fill for any reason, we will discuss this with you prior to having you fill out forms and pay our registration fee.

After we speak with you, should you choose to proceed, our client application and information will be send to you via facsimile, electronic mail or regular mail. Our packet includes our application, client agreement and other materials pertinent to your placement search. Once we receive your completed application, signed agreement and registration fee, your search will be initiated.

Our Director of Placement and placement staff will begin presenting candidates to you  for your consideration; each candidate file is highly comprehensive. As time is always of the essence, each candidate referred will fit the candidate description outlined in your application. The Katie Facey Agency will never send you portfolios from candidates who do not meet your requirements.

Once you have reviewed the portfolios' and identified the candidates you are most interested in, we will arrange initial telephone interviews and/or in-person interviews. The Katie Facey Agency believes it is vital that both parties feel 100% comfortable with all aspects of the placement prior to accepting/offering a position. If the candidate meets your approval after the initial interview process, a "working interview" trial period may be initiated. This trial period can be 1-10 days in length. It is understood by the client that this is considered a "working interview" and the candidate must be compensated in full for their time worked. We feel very, very strongly that the trial period is crucial is the decision-making process and is necessary for each party to make a secure and confident decision.

Upon completion of the trial period, if an offer of employment is extended and accepted, a formal contract will be drawn and the agency placement fee will be due immediately, prior to the candidate beginning employment.

Our screening process is one of the most stringent in the industry. We verify their work history, job performance and legal work eligibility, and we conduct an in-depth assessment of skills. In addition, each prospective applicant is evaluated on their professionalism, character, communication skills and conduct.

Our candidate placement and screening process is as follows:
